Festive Skating at Cockington Court, Torquay, 6 December – 4 January
For a real festive feel this winter, come to the beautiful Cockington Estate and join us on the LAMBCO Christmas Skating Rink in front of a festive Cockington Court manor house. There will be a roof over the rink offering all weather skating. Open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.

Christmas at Cockington Court & Festive Food Fayre – 6 & 7 December
Enjoy some traditional Christmas fun in the stunning Cockington country park with its beautiful Grade II listed manor house. There will be craft and food stalls, choirs, a lantern parade, mince pies & mulled wine plus Santa’s Grotto and FREE family arts & crafts. Visit the craft studios & galleries for that special gift. You will find paintings and prints, sculpture, vintage fashion and accessories, ceramics, glass blowers, blacksmith, toy maker, chocolatier, jewellers, textiles, leather, furniture, bags & sewing kits, wrapping paper, handmade cards and more….
Christmas Cocktails & Carols at Coleton Fishacre, 6 December
Step back in time and enjoy the decadence of a 1920s Christmas in the country home of the D’Oyly Carte family (now National Trust). Dress up in your finest flapper dress or dapper suit and come along to Coleton Fishacre where you can enjoy the atmosphere whilst sipping cocktails and singing carols in the Saloon. Be welcomed by the Butler who will make you feel at home, sip cocktails from the Savoy Cocktail Book and enjoy delicious canapés.

Santa in the Caves, Torquay, 7, 13,14, 20,21,22 & 23 December
Venture underground in Britain’s premier prehistoric cave as Santa returns to Kents Cavern. Some very unexpected and magical friends join him in his grotto. A truly wonderful experience that brings out the child in everyone and puts the joy and wonder back into Christmas. An hour long festive show, a personal visit with Santa, fantastic Christmas presents, mulled wine and mince pies.

Santa Express Steam Train, from Paignton, 13-14 Dec & 22-24 Dec
Enjoy a perfect day out this Christmas season on the picturesque steam train along the spectacular English Riviera coastline. Santa and his helpers will be aboard the Santa Express for lots of family fun. There are 3 trains a day from Paignton (10.45am, 1pm and 3pm) on each of the 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December 2014. You will arrive at Paignton where the log fires will be burning strongly. Board the train to Kingswear and return. During the journey a festive mince pie and a glass of mulled wine can be enjoyed (by the adults!). Santa will visit you at your seat – make sure you chase off Scrooge and children will receive a gift.

Christmas at Babbacombe Model Village, 13 December – 2 January (not Xmas Day)
The model village is set in beautiful gardens with many evergreens so it is a delight to visit in winter. Magical Christmas illuminations light up the park from 3pm daily. There’s alpine skiing for kids (3-8yrs), alpine golf fun for the whole family, a Christmas trail, meeting Santa in his Lapland log cabin and a Christmas mini-panto.

Breakfast with Victorian Santa at Bygones, Torquay 20 – 24 December
A stunning attraction in the heart of Torquay’s beautiful St Marychurch, Bygones is home to a life size Victorian street, model railway, WWI trench, period display rooms, Fantasy Land, 40s and 50s shopping arcade and much more. At Christmas, the famous Victorian Street becomes a snow covered winter wonderland with festive sights and sounds. Breakfast with Santa is a huge hit with families so book early! 9.30am each day.
