1940’s Blackout Tour at Agatha Christie’s Greenway – 28 March
Come along and discover Greenway’s wartime past, on this tour with a 1940′s twist. Learn about Greenway’s interesting wartime history, including the library frieze, and enjoy wartime refreshments!
Babbacombe Model Village – The Shard Comes to Devon! Open Daily
Don’t miss the illuminations and the Shard with laser – during evening opening. This spectacular model village looks beautiful during the day but from dusk thousands of miniature lights create a truly magical and enchanting atmosphere. You can see inside many of the tiny houses, even the streets have lamps and cars with working lights. One of the new models, the London Shard, is a spectacle at night with coloured lights and laser. With a free 7-day return we highly recommend you make the most of your tickets and visit day and evening. It really is a different atmosphere after dark and one that often takes people by surprise. Berry Head Easter Trail, Brixham – 31 March
Is this the South West’s most dramatic spot to Easter Eggs? Spectacular views all around from Berry Head National Nature Reserve, high above Brixham.
Come and enjoy a hunt around Berry Head following the trail then back to the Visitor Centre for your chocolate rewards! Meet: Berry Head Visitor Centre Time: 11 am Cost: £5 per team (max 5 per team); no booking required.
Easter Fun at Coleton Fishacre, Kingswear – 29 March – 1 April
Easter Fun at Coleton Fishacre with a host of Easter activities! Including a trail round the garden and lots of other egg-stra fun things to do. Booking is not needed but normal admission charges apply. Wear comfortable clothes and sensible footwear. Pick up your egg-citing activities from Visitor Reception. Dogs on leads welcome Children welcome. Good accessibility. The garden has some steep slopes and narrow paths. The Easter Egg Trails are supported by Cadbury and cost £2 per child.
Cockington Village and Cockington Chocolate Company – open daily
Why not visit Cockington this Easter? A picture-postcard village, wonderful craft centre and a yummy chocolate maker! Chef Tony Fagan started Cockington Chocolate Company, and their amazing chocolate lollies are perfect to keep the children happy.
Brixham Art and Craft Market – 30th March and weekly
Every Saturday from Easter to October the beautiful harbour side area of Brixham is transformed into a shoppers haven, which is the Brixham Art and Craft Market. The market is colourful and a-buzz with atmosphere showcasing some of the best art and craft in the South West. The market consists of about 20 harbour side stalls, each one offering unique handmade and unusual gifts. There is something to suit every taste and budget. A perfect setting where artists to set up their easels and paint right in front of you.
